    When you sit at the KeyB, all you have to do is turn it on and play. All the familiar controls known and loved on a classic tonewheel organ are there; right where they belong. No confusing menus or LCD screens full of features that you most likely don't or won't use. It's an organ!

    Along with the best sound and being easy to play, the KeyB uses 61-note keyboards that have the familiarity of a vintage organ, not a synthesizer or a portable keyboard.

    The KeyB Duo is our flagship model and features two 61-note waterfall keyboards, a 'full' compliment of  classic tonewheel organ drawbars (4x9 plus pedal) plus all the controls you would expect to see on it's vintage counterpart. KeyB's unique Physical Instrument Modeling and rotary speaker simulation makes it sound beautiful and authentic.

  • The KeyB Organ is not just a B3 clone! You have at your fingertips EXACT representations of the following instruments:

    1959 Hammond C3

    This Hammond Organ is owned by Joey DeFrancesco and is his personal favorite having great condition Wax Capacitors. The organ was used by Jimmy Smith to record many album tracks over the years, including "Georgia On My Mind".

    1968 Hammond RT3

    This Hammond Organ was designed for the Church Market and is installed with Mylar Capacitors giving a higher frequency sound than Joeys B3. The leakage is noticeably different too.

    Late 1960s chopped A100

    This custom Hammond Organ has mid range leakage due to the shorter resistance wires as a result of the organ being split.

    Late 70s B3

    This Organ was used by Brian Auger. It has Mylar Capacitors and not too much leakage. Its a very good example of Hammond B3 and a favorite among many of our owners.

    B3 without Foldback.

    This is Joeys '59 Hammond B3 but without foldback.

Just like an original instrument all the work is done at the factory, no messing around with menu's to get the key click or vibrato settings the same as your vintage B3. You have at your fingertips an exact replica of some of the finest vintage organs available.

  • WATERFALL KEYBOARDS
    keyb_duo-kbrd.jpg (94908 bytes) Along with the best sound and being easy to play, the KeyB Duo has two heavy-duty 61-note keyboards with the feel of an organ, not a synthesizer or cheap portable keyboard. If you play pedals, then you can purchase the optional 25 full-sized console pedals. The KeyB pedals are heavy-duty and are same radius as the classic tonewheel organs, which makes playing the pedals feel right.

  • FULL COMPLEMENT OF TONEBARS
  • KeyB Duo Drawbars
  •  If you have been playing a classic tonewheel organ, then you will feel at home with the KeyB Duo. It has two full sets of 9 drawbars for the upper keyboard, two full sets of 9 tonebars for the lower keyboard, and 2 pedal drawbars. The drawbars are as per original specification with metal sliders (as opposed to plastic)

  • HARMONIC PERCUSSION
    duoperc.jpg (79771 bytes) Located right where they belong are the rocker tabs to control the 2nd and 3rd Harmonic Percussion. Soft and Normal Percussion Volume, Fast and Slow Percussion Attack. Everything you need.

  • SPLIT KEYBOARD VIBRATO AND CHORUS
    duocrsvib.jpg (64168 bytes) You can use Vibrato/Chorus independently or together just like the classic drawbar organ. Use the familiar rotary control to select all three Vibrato and Chorus settings.
  • NEW STRING BASS
    If your a keen pedal player, or just like funky left hand bass you can now enjoy string bass as well as original bass sound. Control Sustain in real time.
  • ALL NEW ROTARY SIMULATION
  • KeyB Rotary Control PanelMaybe you don't have or it's not convenient to take a rotary speaker with you. Don't worry! The new 3D SPEED Rotary Simulation is incredibly realistic. It's so good you'll have to look twice to see where the rotors are. This is because of the PIM engine.

  • EXTERNAL SPEAKER READY
    The KeyB Duo can be connected to either a keyboard amplifier or if you need more power, connect it to an external rotary speaker via the standard 11 pin output.

  • MIDI IMPLEMENTATION
    The KeyB Duo has MIDI out for the keyboards and the pedals. You can connect an external MIDI sound module, and with the touch of a button you can play with or without the organ sound.
